Jack Owicki (Founder)
After coordinating the photography effort for the Bay Area Women's Marches in January of 2017, Jack founded Pro Bono Photo to provide a way for photographers to donate their efforts to worthy causes.
He is a retired scientist, having been Associate Professor of Biophysics at UC Berkeley and an executive in the Bay Area biotech R&D scene.
Instead of spending his time being politically active, he would much rather be doing nature photography and docenting at local nature preserves. But these difficult times call him to act on his values.
