6Jan2022 Walnut Creek: Vigil for Democracy
From the organizers:
January 6, 2022 will mark one year since a violent mob was incited to attack the Capitol in an attempt to overturn the results of a democratic election. As ongoing House investigative committee hearings reveal more and more about those responsible for the insurrection, grassroots groups across the nation are planning vigils to be held on the evening of January 6th to mark the date as a day of remembrance and action."
These photos may be used freely for non-commercial purposes, including journalism, provided that the photographer is credited whenever they are used (Photographer's name, ProBonoPhoto.org).
The photographer at this event was David Rowland.
