15Mar2021 NASA Ames, Mountain View: Protesting the Treatment of Unaccompanied Minor Immigrants
The Biden administration is receiving criticism for not moving quickly enough to reverse the immigration policies of the previous administration, particularly regarding the detention of unaccompanied minors. It has been reported that the Dept. of Health and Human Services is looking into creating temporary housing facilities for unaccompanied minors, and NASA Ames is one site under consideration for that.
A protest of all this was held on March 15 at the edge of NASA Ames, sponsored by SIREN and including the Raging Grannies.
