May 31 Peninsula Raging Grannies protest police violence against African Americans
Shortly after the death of George Floyd, the Raging Grannies demonstrated in a Palo Alto neighborhood. They created cardboard tombstones with names of Blacks that had recently been killed by police. A largely white crowd showed up with signs and some gave talks about the injustices of police violence. The Grannies sang some of their songs that addressed the issue.
