Jun 24 LGBTQIA+ & Menlo Park Stand with BLM
In June of 2020 a group of young Blacks organized this demonstration in Fremont Park in Menlo Park and were mutually supportive by the LBGQT community. Several gave talks about their experiences as Blacks, e.g. frequently being stopped by police for no good reason. Many whites were in attendance and carried signs. It ended with a march down University avenue.
