Jun 19 Juneteenth Event in Palo Alto
On June 19th, 2020 a “Juneteenth” rally was held in front of the Palo Alto City Hall to support the Black Lives Matter movement. June 19th is the date slaves were freed in the United States. Several Blacks gave emotional speeches about their treatment even today in Palo Alto. After the speeches about 80 protesters marched through downtown Palo Alto carrying signs supporting their cause.
